Life Pack

Life Pack is an interactive narrative game created, using the Twine engine, by Takeria Blunt, Patrick Fiorilli, and Jihan Sherman.

In Life Pack, you take on the role of a protagonist packing for the “big move” from one apartment to another some distance away. Feel free to inspect a variety of objects scattered about your emptying apartment. We invite you to explore, investigate, and define aspects of the personal histories of each item.

The act of packing up one’s possessions is a mental and emotional crossroads between memories of the past and promises for the future. In Life Pack, you’ll have to make tough choices about what to take with you and what to leave behind. Once you’re ready to leave, the game will provide a summary of how the move has gone in the near future. How will your story turn out?

You can play Life Pack for free, right now, using this page. We hope you enjoy playing and experimenting with our work!

Life Pack began as a class assignment in “The Computer as an Expressive Medium,” taught by Dr. Anne Sullivan in the Digital Media Program at Georgia Tech. We are grateful for her support alongside that of Tom Jenkins, as well as for the valuable feedback we received from our classmates!
